Next-Generation EMA Damper Performance Test Systems

Available in 9, 18 and 27 kilonewton models, new EMA frames feature a more robust, higher quality, and easier-to-maintain design. A redesigned actuator bearing provides more consistent performance over a longer life, and larger end stop bumpers absorb greater impact forces, preventing actuator damage.
Versatile FlexTest® controllers are now standard on EMA Gen 2 systems, expanding testing capabilities and harmonizing lab training and maintenance. Also standard, full-featured MTS Damper software provides the flexibility to pursue a broader spectrum of damper performance testing.
EtherCAT communications and a compact, front-access drive cabinet with a broader voltage range streamline installation and setup and minimize footprint, making new EMA systems ideal for both lab and trailer deployment.
