Radiator air flow measurement system RF2000
The RF2000 is the measurement system of the air flow going to an engine radiator. The rotation frequency of a vane anemometer (propeller sensor) is detected by an infrared sensor on each propeller sensor. The signal from the propeller sensor is transmitted to the converter via an electrical cable and is converted into an air flow velocity with the converter. The RR5100D converter can measure the air flow velocity at 16 channels, displays air flow velocity and frequency, outputs an analog voltage, and has RS-485 and CAN communication functions. In RS-485 communication, four converters can be connected in a daisy chain. With the TIC Wind-LV dedicated communication software, this system can set the cycle and number of measurements, collect air flow velocity data, and calculate the average. It is also possible to change the converter settings from a PC. In CAN communication, four converters can simultaneously collect air flow velocity data. When mounted on a vehicle, the RF2000 system can perform driving tests.
