During Automotive Testing Expo China 2026, Moog will display its new automotive electric test solution for steering systems and its damper test system. The steering solution facilitates multi-axis coordinated loading or road-spectrum loading on steer-by-wire systems (SBW), electronic power steering systems (EPS) and rear-wheel steering systems (RWS) through servomotor loading mechanisms. Equipped with Moog’s specialized automotive test controllers, software and dedicated steering performance test software modules, it enables fatigue, durability and performance testing for steering systems.  

Moog’s damper test system offers a rich configuration, featuring hydraulic solutions with high-performance hydrostatic bearing actuators, and electric solutions with high-dynamic linear motor actuators. To address the growing demand for semi-active and active damper testing, it can perform CDC damper endurance tests through current playback (capable of achieving current dither output) and communicate with the damper ECU via CAN/CAN FD signals to complete active damper endurance or performance tests. For hybrid real-time simulation testing needs, Moog has introduced a linear motor actuator solution, delivering high dynamic response, control bandwidth and low latency. 

The booth will also feature new additions to the Moog HST family, including a tire coupled simulation system, test controller, servo valves and hydraulic actuators.
