This presentation introduces a newly developed high-intensity e-field probe featuring a variable attenuator, enabling accurate measurements from low field strengths up to more than 6,000V/m while maintaining excellent and adjustable dynamic range. Combined with a high sampling rate, the probe is particularly well suited for capturing radar pulses and for measurements in reverberation chambers. The talk will focus on the probe concept, its measurement capabilities and practical application examples in radar testing, as well as radiated immunity testing in reverberation chamber environments.
